This list is one of the most important lists you will use in QuickBooks; it helps you keep your financial information organized. Once your company files opens, you can find your Chart of Accounts by going to the top menu bar and under Lists click on Chart of Accounts. Now you will see the complete list of accounts that QuickBooks set up for you. The chart of accounts is the backbone of accounting software. All assets, liabilities, income, and expenses are recorded in an account or sub-account in the chart of accounts.
